Ben has developed a wet cough over the last few days, so again we have cancelled his infant PFT. I have to admit, I'm not upset about this. I'm not really looking forward to the procedure but I hate the anticipation of waiting for it. However, we are keeping busy with everything else going on. We visited another pumpkin patch and went to our first Halloween party. Ben is feeling and sounding great except for his little cough. We are hoping it's nothing too serious. Our CF clinic said to give it a week and then we will reevaluated what steps need to be taken.
Ben is clapping, ALMOST crawling, eating some table food and hating CPT more then ever. He keeps us on our toes!!

Pumpkin Patch
On Friday Ben and I went to the pumpkin patch with a girlfriend and her little girl. We had a great time despite the fact that it was hot! All week long it had been cold and rainy so I was hoping for good pumpkin patch weather. I got more then I bargained for! Ben was a trooper although we didn't last longer then an hour. We picked out two pumpkins, one of which we will crave at the halloween party we are attending. I can't wait to debut Ben in his Halloween outfit. Stay tuned!

Weekend away
This last weekend was our first time being away from the little man overnight and let me tell you, it was hard. However, we knew he was in the best of care with my parents so Ryan and I managed to enjoy our "Parents night out". We went to the wedding of our dear friends, BJ and Ashley. We had such a great time catching up with all of our college buddies. BJ and Ash had the sweetest surprise for us too: instead of wedding favors, they donated money to the CF Foundation in honor of Ben! Of course I had a couple of tears right in the middle of the dance floor, but I am reminded of how lucky we are to have such an awesome support system. We couldn't do all that we do without all our friends and family! We love you BJ and Ash, Congrats!!

Back in the 916!
We have finally settled into our new home in Folsom and are loving every aspect of it! Getting used to being back in an apartment but that will only take time. Anything we could need is nearby which is a luxury we didn't have in Santa Rosa. We miss Ryan's aunt and Uncle in Santa Rosa but know we made the right decision in moving. Ryan will be busy the next couple weeks, getting adjusted to his new position. I am working for an online company about 12 hours a week and am signing Ben and I up for swim lessons along with gymnastic activities. Folsom offers SO many activities for parents and children. The part I am enjoying most is having two of my best girlfriends 5 minutes away. Something I have missed!
