Update: Ben’s lungs sound clear (yeah!) and his ears are normal. The ped thinks he either had two mild colds in a row or he's just taking a long time getting over one. We’ll just keep going with our TOBI, they aren’t prescribing him any antibiotics, it just needs to run it’s course. If we get through flu season with just a cold, I’m happy!
We had a great time up in Tahoe yesterday. The weather was beautiful, sunny and clear. We walked around Northstar village,
watched the ice skaters and let Ben walk run around. There were multiple shops around, including a toy store. Well, Ben’s grandpa got into it and came out with some thing fun…
a fun to be one hat for his bday!
We had such a great time. It was nice to get out of Folsom for the day and to see my family. The little man was asleep before we even left the parking lot.
It’s a tough life here :)
In other news, Ben’s been taken off the Xopenex. It doesn’t seem to be helping his cough, it’s only making treatment time harder and longer. So, we have taken him off of it but will continue to do his TOBI until March 8th. UCSF wants us to take him into our regular ped to get him checked out. He still has a cough and a runny nose, however they aren’t concerned. They seem to think he is just taking awhile to get over his cold. We’ll see what his ped says and go from there. Hopefully it’s nothing too big.
He looks like he loves his carseat!!
ReplyDeleteNow that you mentioned it...Yes I remember you told me about the xopenex. I am going to ask next visit. =)
