Spoke too soon

Our clinic called me this afternoon to tell me Ben’s culture results were in. He cultured pseudomonas again. Ugh. They are putting us back on TOBI for 12 weeks straight this time instead of just 4. They are confident that this will get rid of the pseudo since it didn’t show up on his first culture.  I’m guessing that it means we almost got rid of it but not quite. So here we are again.

Ugh. It’s like a punch to the stomach but just when I want to throw myself on the ground and kick and scream that life isn’t fair, I read postings like this and realize how lucky I am.
